ALLISON SUZNOVICH, MSW, LCSW
I offer support and hope when it may feel like there is none. I am passionate about helping people grow their self understanding, improve their mental health and happiness. I know through my work with 100s of clients from various backgrounds, ages and genders, how deeply our past affects our present outlook on ourselves and others. My focus is in working with people to self conceptualize in a more realistic, rational way that allows for acceptance of your emotional experiences but helps to ground you in the here and now. I believe that people thrive most when they are able to overcome their own internal barriers and pursue their own definition of happiness. It’s important to understand that you are not alone and that your life struggles are relevant. I make it a point to get to know each client as an individual, taking into account family and individual history including cultural influences, family/work /social pressures, and life experiences. All of these things help to build a character and shape our framework for how we see the world and our self in it. We will work together as a team utilizing new skills and psycho-education to support your counseling success.
